The International Week of Persons with Disabilities, organized by Samata Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, was celebrated with grandeur at the Mentally Retarded School and the Hearing Impaired School. Commencing on December 3rd, the students paid tribute to the renowned social worker and writer Helen Keller through a spirited Prabhat Pheri featuring Halgi and cymbals. Lokrang Manch, a Satara drama troupe, added entertainment with a Mask Making program on the same day.

Over the following five days, the Mentally Disabled School arranged diverse activities, including painting competitions, sports events, amusing games, and parent meetings. Simultaneously, the Hearing Impaired School organized programs such as painting and rangoli competitions, sports events, handicraft displays, and a book-making exhibition.

Throughout the week, Hon. Sunnykumar Jadhav and Hon. Gaurav Ransingh from Advik Enterprises contributed to the joy of students and teachers by providing green classroom boards. Abhijit Tanksale, a prominent Satara businessman, attended the weeks concluding ceremony and exhibition, expressing admiration for the students talents. The International Week of Persons with Disabilities concluded with a variety of engaging programs and a positive response.
